Efudex 40

USES:  Efudex 40 This medication is an anticancer drug used to treat pre-cancerous and cancerous skin growths.

HOW TO USE: Use this medication precisely as prescribed. Do not raise your dose or use it more regularly than directed. Your condition will not clear quicker, but side effects will be amplified. This medication is applied topically to the affected skin area. Use a small quantity and rub in gently. Cleanse your hands immediately after applying this medication. Avoid applying this medication in or around the eyes, eyelids, nose, or mouth. For aesthetic purposes, the area may be covered with a porous gauze dressing. Avoid a snug fitting bandage.

Efudex-40 is used for removing basal cell skin cancer. Every skin type reacts to Efudex-40 differently. Remember not to apply the Efudex-40 into open lesions. Sometimes it may take up to 10 days of applying Efudex-40 twice a day before things begin to happen.
